Analytical QCD calculations for parton shower development

Abstract
The project will focus on analytical calculations in Quantum Chromodynamics which are directly related to the ongoing development of higher logarithmic accuracy parton showers. The various calculations envisaged shall be useful in : a) The construction of higher accuracy showers via directly providing ingredients to be used therein b) Shall be useful for testing parton showers by providing analytical benchmarks for the same c) shall be useful for showcasing the benefits to collider phenomenology from having new higher accuracy showers d) will further develop spin-offs from shower development to provide new observables for collider physics.
