Abstract
With the increased capability and availability of virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) devices, the demand for volumetric video content is also growing rapidly. Volumetric videos can provide up to 6-DoF viewing capability and allow users to move their viewpoint's position and orientation in the captured scene [1, 2]. Compared to the 3-DoF 360 degree and the fixed 2D video contents, the volumetric videos can provide a better immersive viewing experience.
