Department Name: School of Applied Science
Abstract
The overall aim of my PhD research is to explore the taxonomic and functional diversity of methane producing microorganisms (methanogens) and methane consuming microorganisms (methanotrophs) across multiple UK peatland sites under water table changes and varying ecosystem health and quantitatively link this to methane flux.
