Cosmology from the Cosmic Microwave Background and Large Scale Structure Surveys of the Universe

This PhD project will focus on detailed characterisation of cosmological data - e.g., providing an accurate description of the cosmological signal, astrophysical contaminants and instrumental artifacts present in the observations, and development of core software needed for data modelling. Once the data are fully characterised the focus will shift on comparing the data with - and setting limits on - different cosmological models.
