Abstract
Solar PV is becoming the most important form of electricity generation word-wide. The project aims to further improve the efficiency of thin film cadmium telluride solar cells. We will achieve this by improving our understanding of the structure and electrical properties of defects in polycrystalline solar cells. We will use new materials for buffer layers and new dopants for the light absorber.
