Aspects of Supersymmetric Supergravity solutions

Lead Research Organisation: King's College London
Department Name: Mathematics

Abstract

My research project is at the interface of supersymmetric gauge theories and holography. During my PhD, on the one hand I will study problems concerning supersymmetric field theories in various dimensions, possibly placed on curved manifolds, and non-perturbative techniques that enable computations in these theories, such as the method of localization of the path integral. On the other hand, I will explore supergravity solutions, especially when these preserve some supersymmetries, and can be interpreted holographically.
