These are the research questions I hope to address:
1.What is the role of Islam in the self-perception of Muslim offenders
2.What is the difference between Islam and other faiths in the perceptions of self-identified highly religious offenders?
3.Can existing religious motivations be channelled to create better outcomes in rehabilitation, desistance and prevention?
