Hadron resonances and transitions from lattice QCD

Lead Research Organisation: University of Cambridge
Department Name: Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics

Abstract

Lattice QCD techniques will be developed and applied to study hadron resonances and related phenomena. There have been a number of puzzling experimental observations in recent years and, amongst other things, this work will aim to understand these from the theoretical side. Masses and other properties will be computed in order to compare against the pattern of experimental observations and probe the structure of hadrons.
