Abstract
Espresso Mushroom Company creates easy to use, ready to grow mushroom kits. They use spent coffee grounds as the compost, collected from local cafes in Brighton. Through the Innovation Voucher funding, Espresso Mushroom Company have worked with Brighton University to find an innovative new technique to extend the shelf life of their Kitchen Garden grow your own kits so they are suitable to sell through retail, enabling Espresso Mushroom Company to grow their sales and increase the quantity of coffee grounds they upcycle.
