| Description | We examined various ways to fabricate the biosensors for effective detection of biomolecules in aqueous solution and from air, and some of the results have been published during and after the end of the project. In addition, we compared the robustness and sensitivity of the newly fabricated sensors with well established approaches. |
| Exploitation Route | We have demonstrated the working principles. Instrumental developers must try to facilitate these into working instruments, involving engineering and instrumentation and test of machine-user interfacing etc. |
| Sectors | Agriculture Food and Drink Chemicals Digital/Communication/Information Technologies (including Software) Electronics Healthcare Manufacturing including Industrial Biotechology Pharmaceuticals and Medical Biotechnology |
| Description | We showed local school students (school visits and open days) how biosensors could be used to detect certain molecules from environment and air. |
