Study of the Charged Current pion production channels in the SBN experiments

Lead Research Organisation: Lancaster University
Department Name: Physics

Abstract

The goal of the project is to investigate the neutrino charged current interactions with single charged pion production (CC1+). During the project, the student will develop the full selection of those events and complete the measurement for the MicroBooNE detector. Then the analysis will be adapted to the SBND detector. Part of the project will be to work on the implementation of the new pion production model into the NuWro Monte Carlo generator.
