Single cell metabolomics and proteomics using DAPNe
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Surrey
Department Name: Chemistry
Abstract
This project aims to provide highly sensitive metabolic analysis of single cells using direct analyte probed extraction. The student is exploring the possibility of extracting single cells into a needle, derivatising them and then separating them using nano liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. Different derivatisation and separation approaches will be attempted to maximise sensitivity
