Project GENIE – GNSS Excluded Navigation Intelligent Enhancement

Project **GENIE** (GNSS Excluded Navigation Intelligent Enhancement) \[where GNSS is Global Navigation Satellite System\] will undertake research into Artificial Intelligence based visual navigation techniques to safely introduce AI into autopilot systems in representative environments. The project will demonstrate how an airborne platform can operate within normal flight and mission parameters in the absence of GNSS (typically GPS).
