Abstract

The FSIR project is a significant and differentiating collaboration between Airbus and the following partners and contributors:

• Meggitt
• Rolls Royce
• Shell
• UTAS
• Ultra
The project will focus on the development of the next generation of fuel systems and enabling technologies and capabilities. These new technologies will supply current and future Airbus aircraft with the means to improve product competitiveness, reduce costs to operators and reduce emissions in-line with key industry targets. The project will form a key component of the research within the Aerospace Technology Institute in the development of the next generation of fuel and inerting systems technologies.
