High performance III-V semiconductor materials for magnetic Hall Effect sensors
Lead Participant:
ADVANCED HALL SENSORS LIMITED
Abstract
The study assesses the feasibility of a novel magnetic sensor fabricated from compound semiconductor materials. The sensor has the potential to radically extend the performance compared current commercially available technology and open up new applications in metrology and medical imaging.
The study brings together a micro SME specialising in magnetic sensor product development and a volume manufacturer of compound semiconductor devices in order to assess the feasibility and commercial viability of new sensor products.
