Investigation of catalytic hydrogenation using Coflore continuous processing technology

Thanks to the TSB call for sustainable manufacturing for the process industry, AM Technology and Fine Organics Limited have joint forces to investigate a catalytic hydrogenation using the Coflore ATR continuous processing technology. Enhanced mass transfer, innovative heterogeneous catalyst management and good heat transfer will be applied to obtain a cleaner, more productive and overall cheaper hydrogenation process. During this feasibility study, the process will be proven at pilot plant scale and the design feature for the full scale system will be set.
