Abstract
The projects approved and in delivery are:
o Marine Testing Facility: £14.5m project (£10m SIF, £4.5m ERDF) j
o National Drive Train Test Facility: £32m (£9.9m Single Programme, £21m
ETI)
o National Blade Test Facility: £13.5m project (£11.5m SIF, £2m Single
Programme)
o Offshore Demonstration Project: £22.85m project (£18.5m SIF, £4.4m Single 1
Programme)
o TOTAL: £82m
In order to develop the Narec site and complete the major programme of capital I
works that is currently underway, some additional supporting infrastructure upgrades
are required. The infrastructure funding will enable the significant investments made
by government to be serviced with a fully functional and coherently developed site
that will provide crucial innovation assets to the offshore renewables industry for ,
years to come
