Results and Impact | GB Ambassador Jane Owen was visiting CERN for the day in order to gain an understanding of the British involvement in CERN and the global links that this provides. After the official tour of CERN, I met with the visiting party for a round-table discussion to share the view of a British student based at CERN and what the links here mean to me. |

Results and Impact | MPs from the UK, namely members of the Science and Technology Select Committee, visited CERN; I joined them for a round-table discussion at the end of their visit, in order to answer their questions and share the opinions of PhD students with them. |

Results and Impact | Multiple school visits to CERN, where I am currently based, from the UK. I met with these groups after they went on the 'official' CERN tour in order to give them a more presentation of my work and what working/studying at CERN for a particle physics PhD is like. Also had lunch/coffee break with them afterwards, in order to answer questions which they may not have felt comfortable asking during the presentation. |
