Abstract

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. Women want new alternatives to current treatment options.

Results and Impact On the postgraduate committee I organised a plethora of events from social events to career development workshops. We welcomed new students onto the campus and aided the sometimes difficult transition into postgraduate life. We also set up a SolidariTEA event where postgraduates seeking help could come and get support in a confidential environment, with the aim to promote good mental health and communication between like-minded students facing similar issues.
