Abstract
T-cells recognise peptide-HLA molecules during the initiation of virtually all immune responses. Hence, HLAs are the chief genetic components of many human diseases. This project uses a range of cellular, biochemical and computational techniques to investigate how HLA flexibility controls T-cell immunity, with attendant implications for new medical interventions.
