Abstract
This is a PhD project in Physics. Photonics is a versatile platform for quantum technology due to its suitability for quantum computing, communications and metrology alike. One particularly promising avenue for the scaling up of these applications is the cluster state computing paradigm. The goal of this thesis is to create, manipulate, and detect medium-scale photonic clusters and to apply them to tasks in quantum information processing.
