Abstract
My project aims to explore how the structure of various welfare models may influence levels of social-cognition engagement in the population (i.e. engagement of the neural and psychological processes which are typically activated during social interactions), and how this may influence allocation decisions and the perceived deservingness of welfare recipients. The structural factors which I will be focusing on for my project are various forms of complexity within the welfare system context.
