Abstract
'Affecting Space: an Interdisciplinary Ethnography at Manchester Art Gallery' provides an opportunity to explore the role of environment in supporting mental health and wellbeing in early childhood through interactions inspired by objects, space and experience. It opens up perspectives on health and wellbeing for young children and considers how the culture and rituals of gallery spaces can be adapted or extended to include new and non-traditional families
