Using Gravitational Wave Measurements to Constrain Theories of Gravity
Lead Research Organisation:
Imperial College London
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
We will examine how observables can be calculated in new theories of gravity or extension of Einstein gravity. We will focus on gravitational waves as potential measurements and will examine both line of sight effects and/or source effects. The aim will be to understand the impact that future gravitational wave measurements will have on the understanding of the fundamental theory of gravity.
