Abstract
In my project I will be looking at Bayesian techniques for the data analysis of the REACH radio telescope. REACH is aiming at detecting the redshifted global signature of the 21-cm line from the Cosmic Dawn and the Epoch of Re-ionization. Specifically I will be looking at building an algorithm to account for the chromatic effects of the radio antenna by including parameterised models of its beam in a model comparison tool based on a Bayesian Nested sampling tool.
