Abstract
Multi-component SED fitting of star-forming galaxies at z>2.4 (VANDELS spectra + photometry) with BAGPIPES (Carnall et al. 2018), based on individual objects and spectra+photometry stacks. The SED fitting will be constrained according to metallicity and dust measurements extracted from the stacked UV spectra (e.g. Cullen et al., 2018, 2019). The goal is to constrain the typical SFHs of star-forming galaxies as a function redshift and stellar mass and to compare with the FiBY and SIMBA hydrodynamical simulations run in Edinburgh. The fitted physical parameters and uncertainties returned by BAGPIPES could form part of the final VANDELS data release in September 2020.
