Abstract
My research entails using the cosmological hydrodynamical simulation code Enzo to model the growth of the first black holes. The first part of my project is investigating black hole growth from Population III stars and the latter part will involve modelling primordial black hole formation and growth. These very early universe black holes could grow sufficiently to seed the supermassive black holes observed at the centre of galaxies today and/or constitute dark matter.
