Department Name: Cardiff School of Law and Politics
Abstract
To investigate the extent to which law in Wales has diverged from that in the rest of the UK in the period since devolution. It will study the potential normative basis for these developments in a distinct set of values, held by Welsh lawmakers, policymakers, health professionals and relevant civil society groups, and articulated in foundational (and distinctly Welsh) legislation such as the Well-Being of Future Generations Act.
