Immersive Studio

Abstract

Learning through immersive experiences is exciting; from saving someone's life at a road traffic collision to learning about ancient Egypt inside a pharaoh's tomb; it has the potential to transport us to new environments and interact in new ways. We all learn best from people who understand us. Which is why Immersive studio lets people with years of experience in their area teach us, through immersive environments directly, with multi-sensory lessons they have created themselves.

We are the UK's leading provider of immersive learning spaces in education, health, and the emergency service sectors, with a global network of clients, from teachers to surgeons who use our spaces on a daily basis to bring lessons and training to life. Although the UK is a world leader in these areas, there is a lack of high-quality content for these sectors, that harnesses the talent of our region. We have identified a clear market demand for localised content that transforms how groups learn and train together. From Special Educational Needs (SEN) children, trainee paramedics or aspiring firefighters, each audience's needs are unique, and we believe their content should be too.

Immersive Studio will be a UK based content production platform, that allows teachers to play with scenes, characters and game elements to create fun, exciting and inspiring lessons and connect with each other all around the world. Our software will allow immersive content to be created faster, more efficiently by its audience and as a result, adopted and distributed more widely. This will create considerable future value and IP which is currently not being captured. From New York to Abu Dhabi, we want to allow the expertise from the UK to shine through an intuitive platform that makes creating content easy and learning even easier.

Not only will Immersive Studio allow us to fulfil existing market demand that is not currently served, but it will also open up new markets, moving our business from a focus on hardware supply to a more productive software-as-a-service model that has the ability to scale significantly.
