London South East Bid : Mercedes-Benz EDF Energy Elektromotive Westminster City Council & Greater London Authority Consortia

The project, led by Mercedes-Benz UK, involves the trial and public demonstration of smart electric drive vehicles with dedicated users in partnership with EDF Energy. During the project, participants will benefit from public and workplace recharging infrastructures deployed across the London and South East region (but the project’s primary focus is associated with domestic vehicle recharging behaviours).
The project includes attitudinal and perceptual research activities; and each vehicle is equipped with GPS data loggers to capture key datasets as pre-determined by Technology Strategy Board.
