Abstract
To improve the efficiency of mass-produced engines by up-scaling the Formula 1 methodologies for micro fishing of bearing surfaces. To automate the micro finishing of bearing surfaces by creating a modular robotics based system that is flexible, reconfigurable and upgradeable.
