Maintenance free connection systems to replace bolted flange connections on wind turbines

Feasibility study to revolutionize Inspection, Repair and Maintenance, (IRM) by removing the service of retorqueing bolts out of the equation on fixed and floating wind farms. The study will focus on the location, function and maintenance requirements of bolted flange connections that are currently used for both fixed and floating wind structures and the alternative options available from the Oil and Gas Industry via the use of proven reliable maintenance free connection systems.
