Investigation into bespoke tannin blends for the cosmetics & wine industries
Lead Participant:
THE PJH PARTNERSHIP LIMITED
Abstract
PJH has developed a variety of tannin blends using novel superheated water technology.
Possible opportunities for tannin blend application have been seen in the Wine and Cosmetic
industry. In wine the demand for low cost controlled wine production is leading to an increase
of oak replacement products while in Cosmetics, there is rapid growth in emerging markets
for high antioxidant cosmetics, including skincare products containing tannin blends. This 9
month study will provide an outline investment and business case for taking the PJH tannin
blends forward.
