Next Antibody Library Construction for Therapeutics

The aim of the antibody library construction project is to use a cutting edge technology to
create a prototype library of biological drugs that will showcase the approach and enable
Isogenica to expand its business into the supply of similar libraries to the pharmaceutical
industry. Isogenica has identified this niche in the market through discussions with existing
pharmaceutical customers and potential clients and needs to demonstrate a working prototype
in order to secure business. The grant will enable Isogenica to expedite the development of
this prototype and also develop a manufacturing process to supply the market with similar
products. This will be achieved through further development and industrialization of a
technology recently in-licenced from Aston University. In a depressed economic climate that
is seeing pharmaceutical companies exit Britain, we hope to build a stable business that will
create jobs, maintain expertise within the UK and generate revenues by supplying
pharmaceutical customers worldwide.
