Firefly Solar Community Interest Company seeks to develop a system which will enable a localised UK Manufactured, electricity generation and distribution Mini-Grid, installed in remote communities in the developing world, to communicate with individual consumers via their mobile phones. this will provide data on electricity generation and consumption and allow the consumer to pay for the service through the M-Pesa mobile phone payment system.
