New energy contracts have developed a modulated control, for use with electric radiant heaters. These controls will enable us to operate at exact temperatures, avoiding large temperature differences caused by using on/off controls.New technologies such as far infra-red heating rely on heating the thermal mass of the building, rather than air and this can achieve higher efficiencies if a close control can be achieved.
