Abstract
With Hydraulic fracturing (HF) poised to become a significant source of natural gas in the UK we are interested in understanding the market opportunities this provides around the monitoring, recycling and treatment of fluids used in this process. Specifically the work will determine the options for on-site treatment, pollution monitoring, disposal and remediation of used HF fluids and attempt to identify the business case for these options.
