Description We have written a joint paper with Prof Ren's group which provides a soil-physical explanation of why different soil tillage systems give different yields.

Description This project allowed us to win a Royal Society Exchange Grant with the Prof. Ren at CAU Beijing which started in 2014 and ends in March 2016. We have recently applied for a China partnering award based on the contacts developed in this project. We were successful in our application for a China partnering award to allow us to integrate soil sensor development at CAU, Rothamsted, JIC and Lancaster University. The outcome of this will be reported separately.
