| Description | This was a pathfinder project building on my research into valorising green biomass. A wide range of companies were contacted; the concept of a chloroplast-rich fraction from green biomass acting as functional food ingredient in a range of food and feed products was supported. This information was included in a super Follow-on-Fund application in 2017. |
| Exploitation Route | The project reported an interest from industry on a new, natural, nutrition-rich food/feed ingredient. The FoF application was not successful, but Innovate UK will be approached for further funding to progress this idea along the TRL path. |
