Abstract
Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description | This grant enabled a collaboration between Professors Arwen Pearson and John Cunningham at the University of Leeds, and Professor Eddie Snell at Buffalo. A series of successful meetings were held between the teams, as well as secondments. A significant output was the first measurement internationally of a protein crystal's THz spectra. |
Exploitation Route | Our findings have opened a route to measurement of the low frequency modes of protein crystals, now being studied by several groups internationally. |
Sectors | Pharmaceuticals and Medical Biotechnology |
