Description | This is a travel grant. The comparison of performance of the UCL LLE device with the Corning Reactor system could not be completed. We learned that an intermediate step for the scale-up between our microfluidic device and the large Corning reactor is needed. We reported on them in more details in the section "Other Outputs & Knowledge/Future Steps" |

Results and Impact | A professor from the U of Osijek in Croatia has been giving two lectures in two modules, one for each module. For Biochemical Reaction Engineering, she spoke of biodiesel, and for Bio-microfluidics/Microsystems Engineering of enzmatic microreactors. Attendance depends on yearly cohort size between 15 and 40 students. |

Results and Impact | Two professors from UL, Slovenia, Prof Znidarsic-Plazl and Prof Plazl, held lectures to UG students in Biochemical Engineering on Biocatalysis in Non-Conventional Media, and Modeling Biocatalytic Reactions, respectively. Additionally, both professors held a seminar on their research in microfluidic enzyme reactors. |
