Description | Through BBSRC-funded and co-funded research, a research team at the University of Glasgow (the 'Client') has achieved extremely promising results for an ultralow-dose growth factor technology ("HealiOst"). The technology yields high bioactivity based on a simple polymer (poly(ethyl acrylate) (PEA))-based material, driving efficient stem cell differentiation and bone regeneration in a critical-sized mouse defect model, with translation to a clinical veterinary setting ongoing.
