| Description | We developed a new strategy to probe whether non-statistical kinetics affects ultrafast reactions. We designed probe molecules and then interrogated them using a structural probe of fast IR spectroscopy. We examined a wide range of reactions using fast spectroscopy in this project. |

| Description | People - trained a PDRA who is know a Research Officer at Nottingham and his training on this grant is proving to be highly useful articular the use of spectroscopy. The research undertook in this project have been key in fundamental understanding of photochemistry of organic reactions which laid the foundation for strong industrially collaborations including one to deliver more affordable antimalarial compounds to economic developing regions of the world. |
