Department Name: Physics and Astronomy

Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description The development of extremely high repetition rate femtosecond lasers at 1.0um and 1.5um wavelength. The demonstration of some 2 um fs laser systems and the use of graphene for modelocking mid-IR fs lasers.
Exploitation Route Developing new laser systems
