Knowledge Transfer Secondments - University of Nottingham

717k has been awarded by the EPSRC to the University of Nottingham to administer its KTS programme that supports the facilitation of the exploitation of EPSRC funded research results via the movement of skilled people both into and out of HEIs.KTS funding is available for both secondments of staff previously employed on EPSRC grants, and inward secondments from external organisations/sponsors (commercial, NHS, voluntary, government, etc.) supporting a specific research project building on EPSRC funded research, in the HEI by a sponsor's employee.A strong connection between a previous EPSRC funded project is essential and secondments must be hosted in the UK. The programme runs from 1 October 2009 to 30 September 2012.
