Description We have achieved all the main objectives of the proposal. In other words, we
1) derived the fundamental limits of physical layer network coding by using capacity region
2) designed spectrally efficient network coding transmission protocols by applying interference alignment
3) developed efficient modulation mapping and low-complexity detection algorithms for network coding
4) designed practical DSP algorithms for network coding to overcome practical constraints
5) demonstrated for the proposed transmission protocols and DSP algorithms.
Exploitation Route We are currently working with local industry Calnex and international telecom industry Huawei and exploiting our research knowledge. Also including the research finding in our teaching syllabus (Advanced wireless communications and Array Signal Processing).
