Description We developed paper based devices for point of care biosensing in close collaboration with researchers from Southampton in the first trials of functionalising these surfaces with ligands to run our first assessments of this exciting technology.
Exploitation Route We demonstrated the potential of paper based fluidic substrates for ELISA like analysis of biomarkers and further analytical techniques. This is a platform technology that can potentially be upscaled for applications within academia as well as industry.
