Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description A key outcome of this program has been relationship building with industry (in this case Croda and Unilever), enabling all parties to better appreciate challenges and opportunities evident to partners. At a technical level, shared insight into the structure and properties of renewable polysaccharides has underpinned thee new and developing relationships.
Exploitation Route Following PI relocation to Manchester, further development of links to Croda and Unilever are emerging. Academic benefits are being realised through collaboration in Manchester on oxidative carbohydrate-processing enzymes.
