Description Key findings relate to the rate of fire spread in vertical cavities. The rate of fire spread with different combinations of materials has been quantified and the mechanisms that control this fire spread have also been analysed.
Exploitation Route This work can be taken forward by others with respect to future mitigations strategies for vertical fire spread and also form the basis for future modelling of fire spread on vertical systems.
