Light-driven generation of chlorine and hydrogen from brine using highly selective Ru/Ti oxide redox catalysts
in Sustainable Energy & Fuels
Description | We have found evidence for increased selectivity with increasing TiO2 in TiO2/RuO2 electrodes. We have also identified periodate as a good redox agent for testing new water and chloride oxidation catalysts. |
Exploitation Route | These findings may have important implications to a number of different industries, including the chlor-alkali industry. |
